Five nuns, four of whom are elderly, were injured in a horror crash in Sydney’s west on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to a property on Fairlight Road in Mulgoa at around 8.45pm after reports a car had crashed into a tree.

Officers arrived to find the nuns – including a driver and four passengers – had suffered various injuries.
The driver, a 46-year-old woman, was taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.
One of the passengers, an 83-year-old woman, was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition with head injuries
The crash also injured an 100-year-old nun who was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
Two other passengers, an 82-year-old woman, and an 88-year-old woman, were taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.
Police have established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances of the crash.
