Ray White Marine has made a few impressive sales at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show. The Australian luxury yacht specialists signed deals to deliver a special-edition Riva Anniversario dayboat and not one, but two Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yachts to a buyer from Australia.
The land down under is not used to seeing chic, Italian-designed vessels in its waters, but a recent global surge in the popularity of boating and yachting has captured the imaginations of enthusiasts and those new to the lifestyle.
One of the Technomar for Lamborghini 63s, a Riva Anniversario and a Technohull will all be delivered to Perth, Western Australia.
International sales director at Ray White Marine, Brock Rodwell, said many clients were denied approval for the just 18 slots available for the Riva Anniversario when it was launched publicly in Venice.
Luckily enough when we pitched our buyer we could secure one of the last remaining slots and have a great brand advocate based in Perth, but with multiple boating interests around the globe. When he was considered as the only Australian client to be selected for the build slot he was overly excited and can’t wait to see the collector’s item.

Many Italian shipyards are dealing with A$1 billion backlogs of order books and demand for the country’s uniquely beautiful boats is at an all-time high.
The Anniversario was unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September along with two other debuts, the Riva 76’ Bahamas Super and the Riva 102’ Corsaro Super. The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 was unveiled on June 30, 2020, and caused quite a stir.

With owners like UFC legend Conor McGregor, this spectacular yacht was one of the biggest releases of 2022 and stunned the luxury industry with its aggressive styling and impressive power.
Lamborghini showed that it can hold its own against the big names of the recreational boating industry and collaborate with a fellow Italian prestige firm to produce something truly special.
Tecnomar has been in operation since 1987 and delivered almost 400 yachts up to 50 metres in that time. The company is part of the Italian Sea Group and can count Admiral Yacht and NCA Refit among its fellow subsidiaries.
Two MAN V12s produce 2,000 horsepower each and help the vessel reach a blistering 60 knots (111kph) maximum speed. Extensive use of carbon fibre is a design feature that Lamborghini migrated from its hypercars and allows the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 to weigh in at just 24 tonnes; light for a 19.2-metre yacht.
Brock said he is assisting with the import process of three units sold into Australia, including two going to Sydney through Ray White Marine’s collaboration with ZAGAME Automotive Group based in Richmond.

Riva
Iconic Italian boat builder Riva celebrated its 180th anniversary earlier this year with a star-studded party in Venice and announced the release of a stunning day boat, the Anniversario, of which only 18 examples will ever be produced. The chic vessel is set to turn heads when it makes its way down under and will provide a uniquely luxuriant mode of on-water transportation.
Riva is one of the most glamorous and in-vogue boating brands on the water at the moment and the company is experiencing something of a renaissance. It produces vessels from 8 to 54 metres in a range of designs and styles, but the appeal of the limited edition Anniversario is in its classic profile and sumptuous proportions.
The attractive Riva Anniversario is said to be the most expensive day boat in the world at A$1.8 million, or A$55,000 per foot. It can fit up to eight people onboard and reach a maximum speed of just over 40 knots (74kph). The vessel is a tribute to the iconic wooden day boat, the Riva Aquarama, which turned 60 this year.

The timeless design and high-performance specifications of the Lamborghini for Tecnomar 63 in particular are not often seen on yachts in Australia. However, they may become more common following recent enthusiasm for the burgeoning market for recreational boats down under.
David Beckham and Ferretti Froup are auctioning one of the limited edition Rivas to support the UNICEF 7 Fund, which assists children in El Salvador whose lives are threatened by violence.
From The Deck was on the ground at the Sydney International Boat Show earlier this year and had the pleasure of talking to Ray White’s International Sales Director, Brock Rodwell, who gave Iolande Skinner a tour of a Rivamare 38.
