Alliant Energy was named a Top Utility in Economic Development by Site Selector Magazine. This is the fourth consecutive year that Alliant Energy has made the annual list and it is one of 20 companies nationally named to the list and the only one in Iowa.
The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation honored Linn County not-for-profit professionals as Spirit of Minnie Rubek honorees, for going above and beyond in service to the community. Trees Forever will honor several Corridor volunteers at its annual awards dinner on Wednesday. Kimm Harris, Hiawatha, will receive the President’s Award; Mike Meshak, Marion, Outstanding Volunteer Award posthumously; Erin and Brian Melloy, Solon, Environmental Steward Award; and Michael Martin, Cedar Rapids, the Environmental Steward Award, also posthumously.
The Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association has been recognized for its outstanding public relations program with an Award of Excellence from the Executive Officers Council of the National Association of Home Builders.
Allegra Print Mail Signs in Cedar Rapids was honored by Alliance Franchise Brands network with the prestigious Sales Pinnacle award.
