An apartment with an epic sky-bridge swimming pool is on the market for those not faint of heart.
The Melbourne property listing opens with a bang – a photo showing a lap pool at a heart-stopping height and with a glass bottom, stretched between buildings, several floors up.
A forecourt and balconies below looks up into the glistening blue. It's understood to be the only transparent bridge pool in Victoria. Another exists in Queensland, strung between an eight-level Brisbane apartment building.
The communal zone that crowns the Hawthorn East apartment complex includes hammocks, a terrace for dining, seating and two pools – one with a opaque floor and the other for residents who like to do their freestyle with the sensation of free falling.
The three-bedroom home, with a price guide of $1.15 million to $1.26 million, is on the books of J & D Real Estate agent Justin Jiang.

The complex was designed by architecture firm Rothelowman, which has offices in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and the Gold Coast.
The Rothelowman studio website explains the dazzling feature as "creating a spectacular front door to the project, and also locating the comprehensive resident amenity floor".
The surrounding gardens are the work of leading landscaper Jack Merlo, a Melbourne-based green thumb. Residents can pick their dinner in the shared vegetable patch and a tool shed is provided for owners and renters who need extra storage.
The apartment for sale, via private negotiation, has integrated appliances in the kitchen by Gaggenau, two bathrooms (one an en suite that is spacious enough to accommodate a freestanding bath) and a wraparound private terrace, which flows off the living zone and the bedrooms.

An apartment for rent in the building was also recently listed, for $625 a week.
Apartment 123/55 Camberwell Road is on the second floor, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one car space and a balcony, finished with marble details and pure wool carpet.
Agent Marcel Koning of Richardson & Wrench Projects Victoria is looking after the rental listing.
